Jerry Glass' Obituary
Jerry Lynn Glass, 74, passed away on December 27, 2025 just days after his birthday, finally freed from his earthly burdens. He was born on December 24, 1951 in Lorain, Ohio where he was also raised and where his life’s story came full circle.
Jerry was a graduate of Admiral King High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972. His work ethic followed him throughout his career. He spent many years in Las Vegas as a Room Service Captain with MGM before returning home to Lorain. Upon his return, he began working for Ford Motor Company in Avon, Ohio where he retired as a Team Lead.
A man of Christian faith, Jerry found joy in life’s simple but meaningful pleasures. He loved riding his Harley, cherished his dog Edwin, and most of all treasured the time he spent with his family. He was a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, a devoted friend, and a treasured
brother whose presence will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Jerry will be privately laid to rest with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made online to Hospice of Western Reserve,

We won’t think of him as gone but simply riding in the wind.
