Jim was a dear friend for over 10 years. He made my life better through his intelligence and humor.
Several years ago, I had to sever ties with him when I noticed he was descending into a pattern of self-destructive behavior and refused to seek help, though he remained in my thoughts and heart. I always hoped he would find his way, embrace the tremendous gifts he possessed, and reach some level of contentment. My heart breaks to learn that he never did.
I don't know if there is anything beyond this life, but if there is, my wish is for Jim to find peace.

He was loved.

Jim was a good friend to me. He was my friend, my coworker and my bandmate. I will miss playing music with him, I will miss his stupid jokes, I will miss trying to convince him to come back to visit me in Washington. There is a big hole in my heart now that he is gone. Rest in peace my friend.

So sorry for your loss. Jim was a student of mine in the Computers and Accounting class at the JVS. I enjoyed having Jim in class. He always had a smile on his face and was always so pleasant to be around.
