Jimmie Hackney passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center.
He was born on December 5, 1942 to Jim and Jeanette (nee Ball) Hackney.
Jimmie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret (nee Thomas) Hackney; son, James Hackney; daughter, Margaret Street; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Sas, and KiKi (Rick) Watchorn; and sister-in-law, Lucille Hackney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Jeanette Hackney; and his siblings, Ralph, Manuel, and Rita Hackney.
