Dear Bruno Kids (now all grown up!),
We just returned from our summer place so this is a belated message of sympathy and of appreciation for sharing your Mom with us during our Oberlin years. What an amazing woman! We were so fortunate to have her - and you! - as our neighbors, and we cherish our memories of those years. It was fun to encounter David at the Chautauqua Lake rest stop a couple of years ago.

I HAVE SO MANY FOND MEMORIES OF JO ANN GOING WAY BACK TO 1966 WHEN I FIRST MET HER.AT YOU HOME WHERE YOUR DAD WAS INTERVIEWING ME FOR THE JOB AT OHS. I CAME TO KNOW HER AS A KIND, COMPASSIONATE, CLEVER , FUN LOVING AND DEDICATED PERSON . YOU "KIDS" ARE A TRIBUTE TO HER TENACITY, RESOURCEFULNESS AND DEDICATION AS A LOVING MOTHER AND SHE WAS ALWAYS SO PROUD OF EACHOF YOU. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a very caring and loving person. She cared very much about her aides and nurses and worried about how we were doing when we were off for a couple of days. I can only home we helped to make her last several months a little easier for her.

Dear Bruno's: JoAnn was a special person in my life and she will be missed by both you and her many friends. She brought humor, grace and a sophisticated taste for a fine drink to many gatherings. She also was smart and involved and was immensely proud of each and every one of you. Please accept the best wishes of the entire Walsh family.
