I am so sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. She was a Mary Kay consultant on my team and a wonderful person. Her compassion and kindness for others and faith in God defined who she was a person here on earth. Her devotion to her husband, especially throughout his illness, was a living example of her faith and following Christ. I was personally impacted by having the privilege of knowing Joanne. What a lovely lady. She was my ob-gyn in Sandusky and actually made those appointments less terrifying. She left practice to help her husband more. I didn't know she was ill and was stunned to hear of her passing. My condolences to the family. She holds a tender spot in my heart. May she and her husband rest in peace. Lois Boone

First let me say how sorry I am for your loss.
I was Joanne's patient for many years until her retirement. She was so wonderful...she always made that annual GYN visit seem not so bad...we always had great conversation and she made me feel more of friend than patient. It was actually Joanne who alerted me to a problem during my yearly exam that led me to very early treatment for breast cancer...I am a breast cancer survivor and Joanne is one of the heroes of my story!
Over the years of being Joanne's patient in Sandusky I would always run into other women who were patients of Joanne. The conversation would always turn to singing her praises. She was the medical professional by which I judged and continue to judge all others.

Joanne was the librarian for Lorain County Piecemakers, our quilt guild. She was always ready to help anyone find a book they needed. She was greatly respected and loved by all of us in the guild. Her caring and helpfulness were very obvious, and she made beautiful quilts, many of which were given to people in need. Joanne will be missed by all of us. Be at peace, Joanne, surrounded by God's love.
