John Dudukovich's Obituary
John Dudukovich (Yonko Dudukovich) fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the age of 90 due to natural causes in Olmsted Falls, Ohio. He was born on October 7, 1931 and lived the majority of his life in Lorain, Ohio.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Teresa M. Dudukovich (Zimmer), his daughters Rachel M. Dudukovich and Rebecca E. Dudukovich, his brother Joseph Dudukovich, and his sister Jenny Verbanoff (Dudukovich). He is preceded in death by parents, Nick and Mary Dudukovich, along with his other sisters and brothers.
John attended St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Lorain and Zion Lutheran church. He was a Christian whose life served as an example of redemption and transformation through belief in God. He devoted time for daily private prayer and reading the Bible. John’s openness in his faith led his daughters in their journey as Orthodox Christians.
The depth of John’s life cannot be fully expressed in a simple obituary. John retired from the Norfolk-Southern Railroad after decades of service. He was an avid gardener who was especially skilled at growing grapes and roses. John loved birds and animals, especially cats. He was an excellent whistler, sang, and played the piano and banjo.

The visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 11:00 AM to the time of service at 12:00 PM at the Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral home located at 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd, Amherst, Ohio, followed by his interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
