John H. Ferry's Obituary
John H. Ferry passed away to be with his beloved wife, Diane L. (nee Greenslade) Ferry, on August 6. 2022.
John resided in Lorain County for the majority of his life and worked for GTE, where he retired from after 30+ years. He served his country while enlisted in the United States Army from 1963 until his honorable discharge in 1969.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys (nee Hill) Ferry; sister, Rita Rocke, and wife, Diane (nee Greenslade) Ferry.
He is survived by his dog Casie; his children Wendy (Todd) Starr, Saundra Burton (Fiance - Clayton Connell), and Jennifer (Kennith) Mach; four grandchildren, Brooke, Bryce, Brielle, and Anessa; brothers, David (Judy) Ferry and Tommy (Kathy) Ferry; and sister, Roberta (Ray) Burbine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends the inurnment of both; John and Diane, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 10:15 am, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273.
