Joseph J Bozsoki's Obituary
Joseph J. “Joe” Bozsoki, 76, of Lorain, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain, following a short illness.
Born January 20, 1938 in Lorain, he lived here his entire life. Joe graduated from Clearview High School in 1956 and served in the Army
Joe retired as a foreman from Kuhn Fabricating, Lorain, where he worked for 30 years. Prior to that, he worked at Ohio Outdoor Sign Company and with the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 33.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Lorain Council 637, and the Sheffield Village Lions Club. Joe enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing and bowling.
Surviving are his sons, Bruce (Amy) of Lorain, Doug (Carrie) of Frostproof, Florida, and Jeff (Heather) of Orlando, Florida; two loving granddaughters, Olivia and Hannah; and a brother, Paul of Milan.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Barbara (nee Mitchell) in 2013.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 pm in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, where funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am Rev. Donald Dunson, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elyria, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp. The Disabled American Veterans, Louis Paul Proy Chapter 20 will conduct military honors.
