Joseph L. Dario's Obituary
Joseph L. Dario, age 68, Amherst, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his home under the care of New Life Hospice.
He was born on December 6, 1946 in Lorain, Ohio and attended Admiral King High School.
Joseph served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Bachelors Club and the Knights of Columbus. He was employed for a year in the Lorain Shipyards and then went on to work at U.S. Steel for 45 years, retiring in 2011.
He is survived by his children, Aaron Gibson, Jennifer Brown and Brian Dario; brothers, Ed (Diane) Farley and Mark Dario; sister, Mary (Kirk) Ford; fiancée, Lois Pozega; his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Karen, on July 23, 2010 and his mother, June Dario.
The Dario family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Sunday, AUGUST 2, 2015 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with a service following the gathering at 2:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
