Josephine DeLuca “Jo”, age 56, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 after fighting the battle of cancer with amazing grace. Jo was a dedicated Registered Nurse for 38 years. Beloved wife of Rod Gombert; dearest daughter of Joseph and Rosemarie (nee Lombardo) DeLuca; daughter-in-law of the late Betty Gombert; loving mother of Anthony Warmuth (Rick McIntosh), Gena Mullins (David) and Frances Warmuth; stepmother of Nancy Gombert, Lisa McKay (Brad) and Rhonda VanSuch (Gregg); loving sister of Peter DeLuca (deceased), Maria McKee (Don), Joseph DeLuca, Rosemarie Trunkett (Sylvester), James DeLuca (Elsa), Frances Morino (Matt) and Annamarie Lake (Chris); incredible and loving grandmother of Monterra and Ronell Warmuth, Giana and Arabella Mullins; sister-in-law of Dan Gombert and Kathy Landshaw (Don); devoted aunt of 20; special friend of Ginger Schuerger Davison. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Rd., Strongsville. Private interment will be held at a later date. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday 2:00 – 4:00 p.m and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.. in the Tomon and Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd. (S. of Bagley) Middleburg Hts.
