Josephine A. Kubasak's Obituary
Josephine A. Kubasak passed away peacefully Sunday, January 17, 2016.
Josephine loved to entertain and hosted many elegant dinners and parties. She was blessed with a talent and eye for interior design and flower arranging. For many years she took care of the decorating and the arranging of flowers for the former Holy Trinity Catholic Church, in Lorain, where she was an active member. She also designed and arranged flowers for numerous weddings. Josephine also spent time over the years helping and assisting her husband, Victor, at National Pharmacy, in Lorain.
Josephine enjoyed playing golf and was a former member of Elyria Country Club.
She is survived by her son, Victor Kubasak, of Lorain; and her daughter, Sharon (Joseph Lukachko) Kubasak, of North Olmsted; granddaughters, Alexis and Victoria Kubasak; brothers, Ben (Doris) Caco, of Lorain and Bill (Carol) Caco, of Avon.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; and her parents, William and Josephine (nee Krol) Caco.
The Kubasak family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Closing prayers will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23rd. in the funeral center followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
