Judith A. "Judy" Mandich's Obituary
Judith “Judy” A. Mandich, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center.
Judy was born on March 19, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a 1961 graduate of Solon High School. She retired from Ford Motor Company in 2001 after 27 years of service of working on the assembly line and in the office.
She loved being outdoors and working in her garden, taking pictures, making jewelry and going out to dinner. She also enjoyed walking her neighbor Billy’s dog “Harley”. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and was voted the best Wrestling Team Grandmother at Wellington High School.
Judy is survived by her sons, Emil J. Mandich, of Avon and James C. Mandich, of Columbus; grandchildren, Brandon Mandich, and Emil Zach Mandich; great-grandson, Braydon Mandich; brother, Richard (Joann) Gabrial, of Solon; lifelong friends, Joanna, Chris, Nancy, Gwen, Jerry and Billy; and beloved cat Kit Kat.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mildred Grill; and her best friend, Joe Pesarchick.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:45 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH.
