Judith A. Neubert's Obituary
Judith Anne "Judy" Neubert, 84, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Avon Oaks in Avon, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family, after a lengthy illness.
Judy was born in Akron, Ohio, and grew up in the surrounding area. She was a longtime resident of Lorain County but also spent nearly 20 years living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a place she held dear.
She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force, where she served as Corpsman (Air Force Medic) at March Air Force Base Hospital in California. Judy was an avid reader, a phenomenal seamstress, and a talented artist known for her creativity. She had a deep love for animals, especially large dogs, and enjoyed traveling and exploring new places.
Judy’s kindness, artistic spirit, and adventurous nature will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Anne M. (Edwin “Tito”) Miranda, David F. Cimperman Jr., Michael A. Cimperman and Susan “Suzie” Cimperman; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and siblings, Richard T. (Maria) Neubert, Christine (Greg) Martin and Margaret Neubert. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Merwyn O. & Evalouise (nee Hamilton) Neubert, a sister, Linda McGee and a niece, Lisa Bell.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 2:00 pm at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
