June Anne T. Gregg's Obituary
June Anne T. (Morgan) Gregg, age 65 passed away April 17, 2015 following an extended illness.
June was born October 15, 1949 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and had lived in the Lorain area for the majority of her life. June was retired from the Special Education Department at Lorain City Schools. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and belonged to several organizations, former President of the FOPA Lodge #46, social member of the Woman of the Moose and Knights of St. John. She was an avid George Strait and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan,. She enjoyed playing bingo and casino games, camping and motorcycles.
June is survived by her daughters, Tana (Darwin) Tomplait, of Texas, Melissa (Rodney) Brown-Tate, of Virginia, Amanda (Trevor) Bixler, of Amherst, and Jennifer Gregg, of Lorain; her son, Jeffrey D. (Kayla) Gregg, of Lorain; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Younkin, of Vermilion, Cyndie (Steve) Luster, of Vermilion, Coni Younkin, of Oberlin and Teri McKnight, of Elyria; brothers, Rick (Marilyn) McKnight, of Clyde and Russ (Kate) McKnight of Lorain; cousin, Dee (John) Szklar; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel T. Gregg; father, James C. Morgan; mother and step-father, Elizabeth and Richard McKnight; and her brother, Jimi Morgan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
A gathering will be held following the visitation at the Lake Erie Moose Lodge #522, 713 W. 5th. Street, Lorain, OH 44052
