Dear Mrs. Gatz and family, Being Katharine's first grade teacher, she was a sweetheart, one of my favorites over all my years of teaching. I still think of her every year when I put the beautiful Christmas dove ornament on my tree that I was given by her. I am so very sad. You have all of my sympathy.
I met Katie at A.C.E. Rescue. Katie and I shared a friendship of always joking around and saying smart remarks to each other. Katie was a wonderful person to be around and easy to have fun with! My heart goes out th everyone who knew Katie especially her family! God gained a very good angel! God bless all! May God be with everyone at this difficult time!
