Kathleen Robison's Obituary
Kathleen B. Robison, age 64, of Amherst passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at her home.
She was born on December 5, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio to Wilbert and Marcella (nee Ackerman) Buckley. She graduated from Lorain High School in 1966. Upon graduation she went on to further her education, graduation from cosmetology school. On October 10, 1966 she married her sweetheart, Mark Robison. After their marriage she and Mark lived in California and Panama while Mark was serving with the United States Air Force. They moved back to Ohio in 1968.
Kathleen was a great homemaker. Her family was her greatest pleasure and she was completely devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Mark Robison; sons, Mark (Amie) Robison, of Fairview Park and Dr. Matthew Robison, of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter, Kelly (Donny) Horsley, of Lorain; grandchildren, Jesseca, Kaitlynn, Mark, Madison, Donny, Craig, Emelia, Sebastian and Christian; sister, Gayle (Frank) Salek, of Avon.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Jr. in 1968; parents, Wilbert and Marcella Buckley; and sister, Dayle Meyers.
The Robison family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, Dec. 4th. from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5th in the funeral center followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Rev. Fr. Lawrence Martello, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in RidgeHill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
