Kathleen M. Schuster's Obituary
Kathleen M. Schuster, age 91, of Lorain, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, while under the care of New Life Hospice at Sandy’s Adult Care, Lorain.
She was born on July 11, 1930 in Parkersburg, W. VA and was a resident of Lorain since 1938. Kathleen enjoyed reading and watching Jeopardy. She loved yelling “you creep” while watching her beloved Buckeye’s and Browns. Also, she always looked forward to spending time with her family and friends at their summer home at Holiday Lakes.
Kathleen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 73 years, William F. Schuster, sons, Dennis, of Lorain, and Bret (Diane), of Lorain, her 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Schuster, in 2002 and her mother, Barbara “Mombo” Riffle, in 1999.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 11:00 am until the time of her memorial service at 1:00 pm, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. To send an online condolence, please go to www.dovinreberjones.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations, in Kathleen’s memory, be made to either Mercy New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053, or to the Salvation Army, 553 S. Main Street, Amherst, Ohio, 44001.
