Kathleen M. Sofia's Obituary
Kathleen Sofia (nee Pawlak)73 Passed away peacefully on 8/30/24 at Kingston of vermillion. She was Born in Lorain Ohio 2/12/51 to Leo and Olive Pawlak. She was a proud resident of Lorain and a 1968 graduate of Admiral King High School. She was employed at Lorain products and steel mill for most of her adult life. She was everyone’s 2nd mother, center of the party and an Avid bird watcher. Her children and grandchildren were her passion. She is survived by her children Philip (Kerry) Sofia and Kristina (Richard) Gawlik; Grandchildren Anthony Sofia, Christopher Sofia and Alexis Lugo; brothers Michael (Gay) Pawlak and Thomas (Danita) Pawlak, sisters Patricia Argenti, Connie (Thomas) Moll , and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by mother olive Pawlak (Burkhart), father Leo Pawlak, brother Marty Pawlak. Family, friends and others are invited to a celebration of life on September 6, 2024 from 4-8 at The Fraternal Order of the Eagles 1442, 1161 Milan Ave., Amherst, OH 44001.
