Kimberly Ann Pincura (nee Kostyo)'s Obituary
Kimberly Ann Pincura (nee Kostyo) passed away peacefully on October 28, 2017 surrounded by family, after a two-year battle with cancer, under the care of Mercy New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, in Lorain, Ohio. She was 56.
Kim was born to John (Jack) and Ann Kostyo (nee Fantin) in Lorain, Ohio on March 31, 1961. She attended Lorain Catholic High School for two years and graduated from Admiral King High School in 1979. She also graduated from Nursing School at Lorain Community College in 2005.
Kim worked at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain where she held multiple positions over her 12-year tenure with her most recent position being RN Disease Management Coordinator. She loved her work and her co-workers who describe her as an amazing and beautiful person with an “always positive” attitude, willing to help all.
Kim was selfless and always put others before herself. She was her mother’s caregiver for many years. Kim was a wonderful mother who loved her children unconditionally. Her children were the world to her and nothing was more important to her than the time she spent with them. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and particularly enjoyed island hoping on the Lake Erie Islands. She will be dearly missed.
Kim was preceded in death by her Father John (Jack) Kostyo and her son Clinton Pincura. She is survived by her mother Ann Kostyo of Avon, Ohio; son Joseph Pincura and daughter Maria Pincura both of Lorain, Ohio; brothers John Kostyo of Middleburg Heights, Ohio and Robert Kostyo of Lakewood, Ohio. She is also survived by her nephew John Kostyo, III, and her nieces Kaitlyn and Jessica Kostyo.
Kim’s life will be celebrated on Friday, November 3, from 5 pm until the time of services at 7 pm., at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
