Lawrence Biczykowski's Obituary
Lawrence Biczykowski, age 86, a lifelong resident of Lorain passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home under the care of New Life Hospice.
He was born on April 27, 1929 in Lorain, Ohio to Ludwig and Valeria (nee Marek) Biczykowski and graduated from Lorain High School in 1948.
Lawrence made his career as a printer working for the Lorain Morning Journal for 10 years and finishing out his career at Penton Publishing in Berea, retiring at the age of 63.
He was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. He loved gardening, was quite the handy man and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty; daughter, Lydia Hambly; sons, Mark (Elaine) Biczykowski and Keith (Stella) Biczykowski; grandchildren, Valerie Davidson, Ashley (Brian) Quarando, Kara Biczykowski and Marlayna Biczykowski; great-grandchildren, Colt and Rhett Davidson; and his sister, Esther Imbrogno.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Gabriella; his parents, Ludwig and Valeria; brothers, Louis and Chester; and his sisters, Felicia, Emily and Geane.
A private family memorial service will be held.
