Lawrence Kozloski's Obituary
Lawrence A. Kozloski, age 54, of Lorain, passed away on Thursday December 24, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Lawrence was born on July 3, 1955 in Lorain, Ohio to Theodore and Geraldine Kozloski.
Mr. Kozloski was a 1974 graduate of Lorain Catholic High School. He worked as an assembly line worker for Ford Motor Co. in Lorain until he was transferred to Louisville, Kentucky for nine years retiring in 2007 after 30 years of employment.
Lawrence enjoyed building car and airplane models and vintage car shows. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
He is survived by his daughters, Christine Kozloski, of Cleveland, Ohio and Karen Kozloski, of Lagrange, Ohio; his mother, Geraldine Kozloski (nee Salanci), of Lorain; brothers, Ted Kozloski and Leonard Kozloski, both of Lorain; sisters, Teresa Boren and Laura Plues, both of Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Kozloski in November 2009.
Family will receive friends on Monday December 28, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Prayers will be held at the funeral center on, Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
