Lillian Johnson's Obituary
Lillian A. Johnson (nee Zsebik), age 70, of Vermilion, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at New Life Hospice Residential Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born on September 18, 1940 to the late Alexander and Barbara (nee Kovach) Zsebik. She lived most of her life in Lorain and Vermilion. She graduated from Clearview High School in 1958. She worked for 28 years in the sterile processing department at the former St. Joseph Hospital and former Lorain Community Hospital. Following her retirement, she worked as needed in the same department at Community Health Partners. Lillian was a member of Vermilion E and R Church.
She enjoyed feeding the birds, flower gardening, crocheting and knitting and gambling at casino's.
She is survived by her son, Robert Bartok, Jr., of Vermilion; her daughter, Kimberly (Gary) Price (nee Bartok), of Vermilion; and her sister, Barbara Bridge (nee Zsebik), Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James E. Johnson, Jr.; her brothers, Ernest Zsebik, Richard Zsebik and Elmer Zsebik.
The family invites friends to attend a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Pastor Joshua Budka, Pastor of Trinity Gospel Church in Vermilion, will officiate.
