Lily will always be forever in our hearts and prayers.
She is an epitome of grace, calm and levelheadedness in the midst of chaos.
She teaches by example and with respect even when everyone else is frustrated.
I chose her as the Godmother of my daughter, knowing she is truly and sincerely a very caring person.
We will all miss her grace, her advice, her presence.
We grieve with the Yuzon family.
Sincerely,
Lynne and Ray Romero and family
WANT TO OFFER MY CONDOLENCES TO DR. FE YUZON ABOUT YOURE WIFE LILY SORRY TO FIND OUT SHE PASSED ON
My parents enrolled me at Women's South Dorm 1, UP, Diliman in 1957 and Lily was the first room mate I ever had. Little did I know that she was to be the Gold Standard against which of my future room mates would be compared with. She was kind and patient with me and the other freshman (also the junior we shared the foursome room with). She showed us the ropes of dorm life, eg what wing in the dorm was always noisy, times to eat in the cafeteria when there was no line, what professor won't let you in if you are late and wow this is a good one - the Latin professor who gave the test questions the day before the exam! Better not be absent that day -
Over the years, and that was a span of 65 years, punctuated long years of no contact, I never lost that feeling for her, that she was an elder sister with whom I can share my inner thoughts, my happiness and my disappoints. I felt she would do her best for me if I needed help.
I feel she never lost that kindness and patience she in youth, ever.
May god bless her and keep her.
My deepest sympathy to you, Dr. Yuzon, and your family. Lily was a wonderful lady that I always enjoyed talking to. I send you my love.
To Flor and Lily’s family,
Please accept our deepest condolence and prayers on the passing of Lily.
She is a great loss to us as a friend and an acquaintance. We will miss her in the Filipino community.
We pray for you for strength and perseverance, and for her to Rest In Peace. God Bless!
