Linda M Harrell's Obituary
Linda M. Harrell (nee Demich), age 56, of Lorain, passed away very unexpectedly on Saturday, April 23, 2016.
She was born on April 25, 1959 in Lorain, where she has lived her entire life. She was a 1977 graduate of Southview High School. She later proudly obtained her Associates Degree in Business from Lorain County Community College. Linda’s entire career life was in the medical field, where she enjoyed helping and caring for many people. She was currently employed with the Cleveland Clinic at the Richard E. Jacobs Center, in Avon, where she will be sadly missed by her co-workers and patients. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Parish.
Linda touched so many lives with her tremendous heart and warm personality. If words could do justice, “self-less”, “caring”, and “lover-of-life” would be some that best describe her. She always went the extra mile to make everyone happy. Her newest and most favorite “job” was to be the best grandmother ever to her 2 grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life came from being with her family and getting together with her friends. She also enjoyed music, especially going to Country music concerts.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Randy W. Harrell, her 2 sons; Randy (Courtney) Harrell and Andrew Harrell, both of Lorain, her 2 dear grandchildren, Wyatt and Paislee, her brothers; Gregory (Renee) Demich, of Amherst and Raymond (Irene) Demich, of Lorain, and her sister, Cheryl (Schlitzy) Litz, of Lorain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Demich, in 2014 and Julia Demich (nee Zapotochny), in 2008.
The Harrell Family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, from 4-8 PM, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio 44001. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, at 9:30 AM at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Drive, Lorain, Ohio 44055. The Rev. Fr. John Retar, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
In her memory, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dovinreberjones.com.
