Linda C. Mills' Obituary
Linda C. Mills, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the New Life Hospice Center in Lorain, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 25, 1960, in Lorain, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Hubert and Geneva (nee Smith) Mills.
Linda was a proud graduate of Marion L. Steele High School in 1979, embarking on a fulfilling career in the Automotive Industry. Her professional journey included notable contributions to various companies, such as Sugar Ridge Salvage, and she was most recently dedicated to Great Lakes Honda. Linda was highly knowledgeable and well-versed in her industry, leaving an indelible mark on those she worked with.
Beyond her professional achievements, Linda was a woman of diverse interests and passions. She found joy in riding motorcycles, demonstrating exceptional skills in working on cars, and relishing the tranquility of fishing and camping. Regardless of the season, she loved gathering around campfires, creating cherished memories with her loved ones. Linda had a special place in her heart for her beloved cats, demonstrating a deep and caring connection to animals.
Known for her enormous heart, Linda was always ready to lend a helping hand and go above and beyond for those in need. She was a pillar of strength and support for her family and friends, leaving an enduring legacy of kindness and generosity.
Linda is survived by her devoted fiancée, Donny Clark; her brothers, Rick (Celeste) Mills and David Mills; and her sister, Sharon (Dennis) Szabo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Geneva Mills, and her brother, Jerry Mills.
A gathering to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio. A private inurnment will take place at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., at a later date.
