One of our Great Matriarchs of Cedar Drive, Mrs Koeth (Madeline) was a Second Mom to us, all 30 of us kids growing up together in what truly was a Community Village.
I have such deep memories growing up with Jennifer and Judy, camping trips, staying over night at the house, sitting on the porch talking with the Koeths' and our other neighbors in the evenings, from the time we were little kids, through St Anthony's, Lorain High School and beyond...
Madeline was always making sure we were ok and staying out of trouble--sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't:)
I've loved following Mr and Mrs Koeth on facebook all these years and marveling on how full their family life is and how much they volunteer to help others...
My deepest condolences to Mr Koeth, Judy, Jedder, and the rest of the Family, Much Love,
Karen Boyle
I sang with Madeline for ten years in Avon Lake Women's Chorus and loved her dearly. So very sorry to hear this news and to lose this wonderful woman. She has always been an inspiration to me and will be greatly missed. Barbara Schweitzer
