Margaret Coppola's Obituary
Margaret Coppola (nee Cioffi), age 92, of Amherst, formerly of Fairview Park, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home .
Margaret was born on July 4, 1918 in Bristol, Rhode Island to the late Gabriel and Mary Madeline (nee Simeoli) Cioffi.
Mrs. Coppola is survived by her husband of 69 years, Anthony J. Coppola; son, Anthony J. Coppola Jr. (Ann), of Green River, Wyoming; daughters, Margaret (David) Little, of Bay Village and Gloria (James) McGranor, of Amherst; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Erba, of Branford, Connecticut.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ilma Cioffi and Gilda Cioffi; brother, Joseph Cioffi.
The Coppola family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Closing prayers will be said on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Center followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Dr., Amherst. Rev. Lawrence Martello, Pastor, will officiate. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
