Margeau Stumphauzer's Obituary
Margeau Nicole Stumphauzer, age 29, entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, September 25, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with a lifelong illness.
Her kindness, generosity, wit and playful spirit will be remembered by her loving family, friends, and the many lives she touched along the way.
Her smile was contagious despite her suffering and her unconditional love was and will always be an inspiration.
Margeau is survived by her parents, Ken and Gail (nee Celano) Stumphauzer, of Vermilion; brothers, Ryan Stumphauzer, of Miami, Florida and Ken M. Stumphauzer, of New York City, NY; sister, Kelly (nee Stumphauzer) Draga, of Amherst; niece, Lily; nephews, Cullen, Evan and Ashton Draga; grandmother, Kathryn Stumphauzer, of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Chad Douglas and Gregory Brent Stumphauzer; grandparents, William Stumphauzer, Joseph and Rose Celano; and aunt, Carolyn (nee Celano) Feuerborn.
The Stumphauzer family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst where a "Sharing of Memories" service will take place at 8:00 p.m., following the visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH), Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Margeau to "Margeau's Free to be Fund" c/o Common Ground, 14240 Baird Rd., Oberlin, OH 44074, which will sponsor an annual Women's Day of Healing.
