She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain and the Senior Center at El Centro.
Maria is survived by her sons, Ben, of Irvine, CA, Alberto, Lynchburg, VA, Gabriel (Shar), of Lindale, TX, and Martin (Lidia), Barcelona, Spain; her daughters, Maria Carrion, Lorain, Olivia (Paul) Harvey, Falmouth, MA and Isabel (Tomas) Pallens, of Lorain; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Leandro Solis and Antonio Solis; and her sister, Jesusa Solis, all of Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Solis and Saturnina Servin; her brothers, Alberto, Jose and Andres Solis and her sisters, Dolores and Teresa Solis.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst.
