Maria Josefa Gonzalez Manzano's Obituary
Maria Josefa Gonzalez Manzano, age 71, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 after fighting a long battle with her health for 23 years.
Maria was born on August 21, 1950 in Cadiz, Spain. After marrying her high school sweetheart, they came to the United States and started their family in 1972.
Maria was a homemaker who loved to do and give to her family endlessly. She loved to crochet, cross stitch, sew, and was an excellent cook. She also had a green thumb, raising many beautiful plants, flowers, and gardens. Maria was a great wife, mother, and grandmother and she dedicated her life to her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary C. Gonzalez and Josephine (Donald) O’Bryan, her granddaughter, Gracelyn Marie O’Bryan, and a brother, Manuel (Teresa) Manzano Munoz.
Maria was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carmen Maria Firestone, her husband, Luis Gonzalez, her mother, Carmen Munoz Barberi, her father, Manuel Manzano Salido, and her sister, Maria del Carmen Manzano Munoz.
