Marie Clemons' Obituary
Marie E. Clemons (nee Santiago), age 47, of Enon, Ohio, and formerly of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at her home.
She was born February 28, 1962 in Lorain, Ohio to Carmelo S. Diaz and Rosita Santiago.
Marie was a retired Navy Veteran and had served our country for 23 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Yellow Springs and a past member of Sacred Heart Chapel in Lorain.
Marie is survived by her husband, Sean Clemons, whom she married August 19, 1995; four children; Lorenzo Mastrangelo, Lance Mastrangelo, Cameron Barberi, and Dominic Clemons; her parents, Carmelo S. Diaz and Rosita Santiago, of Lorain; six siblings; Reynaldo Santiago, Sulma Santiago, Carmelo Santiago Jr., Antonio Santiago, Nancy Santiago-Meyers, and Amy Torres; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 14th from 2-4 and 6-8 in Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:45 a.m. in the funeral center followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel. Fr. William Thaden, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Marie’s cremains will be inurned at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
