Marilyn Jeanne Opperman Mills' Obituary
Marilyn Jeanne Opperman Mills (nee Kuske), age 83, of Vermilion, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018, at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain.
She was born on July 18, 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota, but grew up and graduated from high school in Osceola, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school in 1952 she moved to this area. Jeanne worked in the cafeteria at Vermilion High School for over 30 years, retiring from there in 2004. She was a member of Birmingham United Methodist Church.
Jeanne really did enjoy mowing her lawn, which she took great pride in. She also found joy in feeding all of her wildlife that would come up to the house.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Clifford Mills, son, Greg (Sue) Opperman, of Vermilion, daughter, Kimberly Kennedy (James), of Berlin Heights, step-son, Keith (Brenda) Mills, of Collins, step-daughters; Kimberly Mills, of Norwalk and Kristine (Kevin) Allmon, of Vermilion, 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clarence Opperman, Jr., a son, Ricky Opperman, a daughter, Sheri Puder, 2 grandchildren; Kelly and Mike Puder, and her parents; Ernest and Elsie Kuske.
The family is inviting all family and friends to join them in celebrating her life from 1 - 4 pm, on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Tiffany’s Flowers at the Old Town Hall, 736 Main Street, Vermilion, Ohio 44089.
