Marlene Cerlan's Obituary
Marlene Jane Cerlan (nee Budka), age 79, a lifelong resident of Lorain, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at her home after a lengthy illness.
Marlene was born on July 22, 1932 to the late Chester and Madalyn (nee Lukesic) Budka. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, camping, traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Cerlan; daughters, Debbie Scott, of Lorain and Denise Waldron, of Lorain; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, David N. (Francine) Petroskey, of Lorain.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Budka and Madalyn Bozsoki and her brother, Norman Budka.
The Cerlan family will receive friends on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor of the Church of St. Peter will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
