Mary Ann Litten's Obituary
Mary Ann Litten, 52, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on December 24, 2010. She was born on September 28, 1958 in Frankfurt, Germany where her parents were stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Germany.
Mary was a 1976 graduate of Admiral King High School and graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1980 with a degree in Accounting and received her Masters Degree in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina.
She was employed at R.J. Reynolds in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and later moved to Columbus, Ohio where she was employed at Alliance Data. In August of 2004, she joined ODJFS where she served as an Informational Technology Manager.
Mary was active in sports and loved skiing, biking and playing golf. She was also an active volunteer working with Pet Pals, a dog therapy program at the Ohio State Medical Center. Her two pets, Brandy and Ditto were trained therapy dogs.
She is survived by her mother, Anita Litten-Otto, of Lorain and a brother, Mark (Cathy) Litten, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and also by her dear aunts and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, David S. Litten, in 1974 and her step-father, Martin M. Otto, in 2000.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
