Mary Leska's Obituary
Mary M. Leska (nee Pliszka), age 88, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Lorain, she was born on September 5, 1923 to the late Stanley and Anna (nee Halinak) Pliszka.
She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She especially loved her whole family.
She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Church, Lorain, and currently a member of St. Joseph Church in Amherst.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna; and her sister, Jennie Jenkins, of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Donald on April 1, 2012; her brothers, John, Joseph, and Frank Pliszka; and her sisters, Angeline Dombrowski, Josephine Jameson and Stella Mroski.
Private visitation and funeral service was held for the family at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
