Mary Louise Thompson's Obituary
Mary Louise (née Brown) Thompson passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on October 21, 1934, in Tonawanda, New York, she was the beloved daughter of Edward and Mary (née Kerr) Brown.
Mary moved to Lakewood, where she graduated from Lakewood High School in 1951. On February 5, 1955, she married the love of her life, Donald Thompson, at Lakewood Presbyterian Church. Together, they shared 70 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, faith, and family.
Mary had a deep love for camping, traveling, and cherishing time with her family. She will be fondly remembered for her warmth and kindness.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Donald; her children, David, Donna, Mark, and Melissa; her 14 cherished grandchildren; and 19 adored great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew; her brothers, Edward and Howard; and her sister, Barbara.
Mary’s love, laughter, and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed but forever held in the hearts of those who knew her.
