Mary Williams' Obituary
Mary M. Williams (nee Geri), age 90, of Lorain, died on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria.
She was born on April 7, 1919 in New Jersey. She came to this area with her family when she was a young girl.
Mary worked at Bendix Westinghouse in Elyria. She retired from there with over 30 years of service.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Amherst. Her hobbies included ceramics and painting.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James H.; her son, Richard (JoAnn) Nagy, of Avon, her daughter, Connie (William) Knauf, of Decatur, GA; grandchildren, Lori (Jeffrey) Emery, Amy Ortner, Emily (Michael) Neumann, Meredith (Aaron) Cloud, Julia (Dimitri) Basin, and Vanessa Knauf; and 5 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Taylor, Austin, Keegan and Paige.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Theresa (nee O’Dor) Geri, her infant daughter, Mary, and her sisters, Yolanda Roasseau and Ann Zemonek.
Private services were held for the family with Fr. Lawrence Martello, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, Amherst, officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
