Maxine E O'Brien's Obituary
Maxine E. O’Brien (nee Drifkee), age 90, of Amherst, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Amherst Manor.
Maxine was an amazing mother with endless love for her family. She will be dearly missed by her children; Kathy O’Brien, of Westlake, Pat (Janet) O’Brien, of Kirtland Hills, Mike O’Brien, of Scottsdale, AZ, Colleen O’Brien, of Lorain, Annie O’Brien, of Vermilion, and Peggy (Tony) Perchinsky, of Amherst, her 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and her sisters; Hazel, Lois, Jean, and Shirley. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick, a daughter, Molly, and her parents.
The O’Brien family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24, from noon, until the time of her funeral service at 2:00 pm, at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
