Michael Costello's Obituary
Michael J. Costello, 37 of Amherst, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 at his residence while under the care of Hospice of Cleveland Clinic following a 6 month illness.
Born Sept. 16, 1973 in Amherst, he moved to Indiana in 2008, and returned to Amherst in 2010.
Michael worked as a truck driver for Eagle Express. He also did carpentry work on the side.
He enjoyed playing scrabble and computer games. Michael was also a big movie buff, and especially liked Star Wars.
Surviving is his daughter, Jessica Costello of Amherst; his mother, Isabelle (nee Malone) of Amherst; brothers, Gerald of Willow Springs, N.C., and Robert (Linda) of Zebulon, N.C.; sisters, Carol (Ron) Willis and Jeanne (Allen) Bentley both of Amherst; his nieces and nephews, James (Tammy), Ryan, Jacob, Mary, Matthew, Christopher; great nephews, Austin and Andrew; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with funeral services at 7:30 pm in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Rev. Richard Kretchmar, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the funeral center to help defray the funeral expenses or to Hospice of Cleveland Clinic, 6801 Brecksville Rd., Suite 10, Independence, Ohio 44131.
