Michael Wayne Covey's Obituary
Michael Wayne Covey passed away unexpectedly at the age of 67. He was born on November 20, 1957, in Pulaski, Virginia, to Wilbur and Nelma (née Smith) Covey.
Michael was a hardworking and dedicated man who owned and operated his own construction company. He took great pride in his work and loved spending time building, fixing, and “piddling” with projects around the house. He also enjoyed cooking, especially making his famous pumpkin rolls and homemade bread that his family and friends looked forward to every year.
Above all, Michael’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a quiet, simple, and private man whose love for his children and grandchildren was unwavering.
