Michael L. Fullmer's Obituary
Michael L. Fullmer, age 60, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake. He was born on November 30, 1962 in Medina, Ohio to Annie (nee Lawrence) Fullmer and later adopted by David Fullmer.
He attended school at Murray Ridge and worked at the Rising Son Workshop from which he retired. He was a resident of Cleveland for 29 years prior to returning to Lorain County thirteen years ago
Michael had a contagious personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had an uncanny ability to teach patience and grace, without even realizing he was doing so. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor made him an instant friend to anyone he came across.
One of Michael’s greatest passions was his love for the Cleveland Browns. He was a loyal fan who could always be found cheering them on with enthusiasm.
Michael’s legacy of kindness and compassion will live on through the countless lives he touched. His absence will be felt deeply by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his mother Annie, a sister Marjorie Akers and step-brother Glenn.. He was preceded in death by his father David and sister Kathleen Fullerton
A celebration of Michael’s life will be honored at a Tree Planting Ceremony at Murray Ridge School at a later date.
