Michele M. Reaser's Obituary
Michele Reaser, age 68, a lifelong resident of Lorain passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from cancer at the Avon Cleveland Clinic. She was born on January 8, 1953, in Lorain to Albert and Helen (nee Pauley) Barraco.
She was a graduate of Southview High School and worked for 7 years as a Teacher’s Aide in the Amherst City School system.
Michele was a member of St. Peter’s Parish. She enjoyed pickleball, ping pong, swimming and traveling. She was a wonderful woman that was loved by everyone who knew her. Her pride and joy were her 4 granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roger Reaser; son, Roger (Sherry) Reaser; daughter, Erica (Robert) Wiegand; and granddaughters, Emily Wiegand, Cassidy Reaser, Sarah Wiegand, and Kaitlyn Reaser.
Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Helen Barraco; and her brother, Mike Tarrington.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral center, following the visitation. Rev. Father Craig Hovanec, Pastor of St. Peter’s Parish will officiate. Interment will follow at Ridgehill Memorial Park. Face coverings will be required in the funeral center.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made in memory of Michele to the American Cancer Society.
