Michele J. Wagner's Obituary
Michele J. Wagner, age 62, of Lorain, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph.
She was born on May 6, 1958 in Doylestown, PA. She also resided in New York and South Carolina, before finally moving to Lorain where she has lived for the past 30 years. Michele worked for Q-Lab as a solderer for the past 20 years. She was also a waitress for many years.
She always enjoyed taking vacations, and took some good ones! She loved going to Vegas. She also loved going to Mountaineer, especially the race track, always looking forward to the bus trips to different casinos. She loved to gamble, and did it her entire life, unfortunately she just never won. Michele’s other favorite places to go were Punta Cana, Cancun, and Maine. When she went to Maine, she would sing the entire way there and back. There was even a trip where she had to race against a hurricane coming in. Florida was also a favorite destination. She loved seeing the turtles come out at night and attending family reunions when she was there. Golf was also a hobby she enjoyed. When she played, she always played the entire 18 holes. Michele also tried her hand in gardening, but had a love/hate relationship with it.
She is survived by her long-time love and companion, Dick Wohlever, as well as her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Eva (nee Hamberger) Chambers.
