Moses Tyree Dower 's Obituary
Moses Tyree Dower, 36, of Lorain passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Fairview Hospital unexpectedly due to complications with his heart.
He was born on October 7, 1980 in Lorain, Ohio where he remained a lifelong resident.
Tyree graduated from Clearview High school in 1998 followed by attending Bowling Green State University. During his life, Tyree worked at Tremco for 11 years also serving as a Union Rep.
He loved to spend his time cooking, dancing with his children, and traveling with his family. He also participated in the Church of the Open Door’s Men’s basketball league. He was a foster parent as well as being a dad to his 4 children.
Tyree is survived by his wife of 13 ½ years, Awilda (nee Sanchez) Dower; his 4 children, Jai-len, Aidan, Naila, and Jaxon; Brothers, Tony (Michelle) Dower, Tim (Melissa) Dower, Stephan (Crystal) Greenhill, Andre Greenhill, Rich (Rosie) Thames, and Emmanuel (Nicole) Thames; Sisters, Gwen (Willie) Roller, Wanda Dower, Tokeya Greenhill, and Aleshea Thames; Mom, Glenda Johnson; and Dad, Richard Thames; Mother in Law, Gladys Awilda Sanchez; Father in Law, Jerry Sanchez; Brother in Laws, Jerry (Janira) Sanchez Jr., and Matthew (Courtney) Sanchez; Sister in Law, Cristina (Ian) Wayton; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Brenda (nee Sharpe) Dower; and Grandfather Melvin Sharpe.
Tyree’s family will receive friends on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 4 - 8 PM at God’s Kingdom Church, 1671 N. Ridge Road, Lorain, Ohio 44055 , where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain.
