Myron "Stanley" "Mike" Gembka's Obituary
Myron “Stanley” “Mike” Gembka, age 84, of Lorain passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain.
He was born on May 24, 1933 in Elyria, Ohio to Marion and Cecelia (nee Zlatkowski) Gembka. Myron “Mike” worked for Columbia Gas Company, retiring in 1992 after 40 ½ years of service.
He was a member of Nativity BVM Catholic Church in Lorain. Myron enjoyed going Polka dancing with his wife and friends.
Myron is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sarah “Sally” (nee Partridge) Gembka; sisters, Helen Supers, of Avon, and Joanne Scafaro, of Westlake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Cecelia Gembka; and sister, Irene Byars, and Victoria Coughlin.
Private funeral services were held under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral &Cremation Center.
