Nadine Chesnick's Obituary
Nadine L. Chesnick, age 77, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at her home. She was born on June 29, 1934 in Amherst, Ohio to the late Orlo and Lucie (nee Quatrevaux) Higgins.
Nadine was a 1952 graduate of Amherst High. Nadine has been employed as a cashier for the past ten years at Marc's in Sheffield, prior to that she had worked for Pat Catan's Craft Store and as a dietary aide for ten years at Golden Acres, retiring in 1987.
She had a great love for all animals and a passion for crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed computer games and crocheting.
Nadine is survived by her sons, Robert (Kathy) Chesnick, of Lorain and Jonathon (Candie) Chesnick, of Lorain; daughters, Suzanne (Rick) Rogers, of Wakeman and Judith (Gene) Chesnick, of Elyria; grandchildren, Erica (Scott) Garner, of Norwalk, Brock (Rose) Koon, of Lorain, Brandi Chesnick, of Vermilion, Jacob Chesnick, Holly Chesnick ,Noelle Chesnick, all of Lorain and Josh Cruz, of Elyria; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Emily Garner, of Norwalk and Damyin Koon, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert Chesnick.
Private family funeral services were held.
