Nadine R. Meyers' Obituary
Nadine R. Meyers (nee Nickolette), age 72, a lifelong resident of Lorain passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 13, 1942 in Lorain, Ohio to Albert and Connie (nee Januzzi) Nickolette and graduated from Lorain High School in 1960.
Nadine worked for many years as a hairdresser at the Five Seasons Salon. She was a member of The I.A.V. Women’s Auxiliary, serving as President and a very active member of the I.A.V., serving spaghetti dinners and working as the bar manager at the club for several years.
Nadine enjoyed reading and playing games on her kindle tablet, a gift she received from her son. She loved making jewelry, knitting and cooking and was sharing her talents with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her sons, David Meyers, of Lorain and Ben Meyers, of Alabama; and her granddaughter, Celeste Meyers, of Lorain.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Connie Nickolette; and her sister, Celeste Nickolette.
The Meyers family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 4:00- 7:45 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst where Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 7:45 p.m. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, of the Church of St. Peter, will officiate. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
