Nancy Sasala's Obituary
Nancy J. Sasala (nee Kostal), age 75, of Vermilion, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 14, 2013 at The Cleveland Clinic.
Born on January 28, 1937 in Cleveland to the late Emil and Mary (nee Durica) Kostal,Nancy lived in the Cleveland area until moving to Vermilion 25 years ago.
She was a member of St. Mary Parish, Vermilion, and had volunteered many hours at the soup kitchen at Catholic Charities in Lorain.
Surviving is her husband, Robert; her daughters, Kim Seeman, and Brigitte (Larry) Holtcamp, both of Vermilion; her step-daughters, Laurie (Chris) Kraska, of Twinsburg, and Connie (Gerry Nelson) Sasala, of Richfield; 5 grandchildren, Jonathan Holtcamp, Jennifer Facsina, Steven Facsina, Colin Nelson and Amanda Nelson; and her sisters, Edith (John) Rugan, of Independence, Mary Ann (Bill) Muscatello, of Strongsville, and Linda Moore, of Wilmington, Delaware; and her brothers, Milton Kostal, and George(Doris) Kostal, both of Parma.
The Sasala Family invites friends to attend a memorial mass in memory of Nancy on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary Parish, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Fr. Ron Brickner, Pastor, will officiate.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst handled the arrangements.
