Nancy Seighman's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nancy Seighman, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend on June 15, 2025, at the age of 67. Nancy was born on February 11, 1958, in Amherst, Ohio, to the late Gerald and Frances Braun. Nancy will be reunited, in spirit, with her beloved client and friend, Margie Slack, whose memory she has always held dear.
Nancy leaves behind her ex-husband, Bob Seighman, and her sons, Rob (Samantha), and Greg (Danielle). She was the proud grandmother of Isabelle and Audrey, who brought her so much joy as she watched Isabelle in the marching band and cheered Audrey on during her softball and basketball games.
Nancy dedicated much of her life to helping others. She worked for many years at Murray Ridge, where she touched the lives of countless individuals, volunteering her time to support the DODD community. She was passionate about her work and her clients, and it was a cause that stayed close to her heart for many years.
In her younger years, Nancy was an avid softball player, and her love for sports and active living continued throughout her life. After retirement, she spent her days in the garden, tending to her plants, and enjoying the beauty of nature. You could often find her at the Eagles, enjoying time with friends, or out on the water, boating with loved ones. Nancy was also a true animal lover, with a special fondness for bulldogs, who brought her great joy and companionship.
Nancy’s kindness, generosity, and infectious spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She will always be remembered for her nurturing soul, her love of family, her devotion to animals, and her unwavering dedication to helping others.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to this https://gofund.me/839328fe link to support Murray Ridge Adult Programs—to continue Nancy's legacy and passion.
