Pamela Margaret Behan's Obituary
Pamela Margaret Behan (nee Jones), age 74, of Lorain, formerly of Norfolk, VA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Ames Family Hospice, Westlake, OH.
She was born on April 24, 1947 in Norfolk, VA, where she lived most of her life and is a 1965 graduate of Norview High School. She was employed by the Department of the US Navy as a Computer Programmer and Analyst at the Naval Space and Warfare Command in Norfolk, VA. She retired from there in 2003 after 36 years of service and resided in Chesapeake, VA. Due to illness, she and her husband, Patrick, and son, Ethan, just recently moved to Lorain in 2018, to be closer to family here.
Pam was a member of Christ Church at the West Campus in Elyria, OH. She thoroughly enjoyed her time with her beloved family. She also enjoyed working in her flower gardens, watching golf, snow skiing, water sports, and not to mention her life-long fondness of Diet Coke.
Pamela leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 46 years, Patrick C., sons, Chris J. (Dora) Behan, of Pensacola, FL, Brian T. Behan, of Elyria, and Ethan M. Jones, of Chesapeake, VA, daughter, Holly L. (James) Jackson, of Elyria, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Frances (nee McNulty) Jones, and a brother, Curtis M. Jones.
